Tomasu soy sauce is brewed in Rotterdam from its own soy beans and wheat, grown in the Hoeksche Waard. These products, together with spring water and sel de Guérande from Brittany, form the ingredients of the soy sauce. The sauce is fermented and matured for a minimum of 24 months in 25 to 50 year old whiskey barrels from Scotland's best distilleries. The only ingredient added afterwards is time. The minimum maturation of 2 years in the barrel creates the unique soy sauce, rich in flavor. This sweet soy sauce is a combination of the Tomasu signature soy sauce and sugar, obtained from local sugar beets. The balance of sweet and salty in the sauce provides extra layers to your dishes.
